Summary of the Request
The Request describes a potential harm to the living conditions of the Requester caused by the eviction from a leased commercial premises for the construction of the Project.
In addition, the Request alleges that the commercial premises were vacated as part of an agreement to obtain financial compensation in accordance with the Project procedures, however the compensation has not been received by the Requester.
Recent actions
On February 15th, 2023, the Request was not registered to allow the Requester to establish an initial contact with the Project Team (Management) through the following protocol: https://www.iadb.org/en/projects/grievances-portal. The Requester was notified of the possibility of resubmitting the Request to the MICI if their concerns have not been addressed within a reasonable period.The Parties were notified and the MICI process was concluded.
It is important to note that the Notification of Non-Registration is not an assessment of the merits of the Request, or the issues presented in it. Nor is it a determination of compliance or non-compliance by the IDB of its Relevant Operational Policies.
